Position: Folder Gluer Technician

Location: Garner, NC

Pay: $25/hr to $38/hr (depending on experience) Benefits!

Experience: 5 years of experience as a folder gluer machine operator; experience with both straight-line and auto-lock boxes

Type: Full-time; Contract

Schedule: 3x12 shift; 1st shift, 5:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. or 2nd shift, 5:30 p.m.-5:30 a.m.

Greene Resources is seeking a Folder Gluer Technician to join a growing and dynamic team!

Job Description:

• Set up and run production for the Folder/Gluer
• Read customer specifications and job tickets
• Set up, adjust, tune, and repair equipment as needed
• Perform quality checks and maintain optimum quality
• Assist with general maintenance and lubrication of machines
• Follow all required safety procedures and assist with housekeeping in the bindery area
• Train new employees and support staff as needed
• Act as a technical resource to other departments and coworkers to address and resolve inquiries and problems

Position Requirements:

• Strong ability to multi-task
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Effectively work independently and as part of a team
• Perform basic math calculations and maintain production charts and records
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for long hours
• Regularly exposed to noise, dust, odors, and oils
• Ability to work overtime as needed
