Greenbrier Medical is Hiring a Medical Assistant Near Sevierville, TN
Greenbrier Medical is a family medicine practice located in Sevierville, the heart of the Great Smoky Mountains. Specializing in over 20 years of combined experience and community-focused care. Our team is led by Missy Graves, NP and Corey Cleland, MSN, FNP-C, and Katherine Ratcliff, APRN. We pride ourselves in providing personalized care and respect to each patient.
Shift: Monday-Thursday 8AM-5PM
Pay Range: $14-$18/hr (DOE)
We are seeking a Medical Assistant to join our team! You will be responsible for delivering high quality care our patients. Our current need is for Full Time, but we are willing to consider Part Time applicants as well.
Responsibilities:
- Provide basic patient care and treatment (Check-in, taking patient histories, and assisting with medical
- procedures as needed)
- Collaborate with Nurse Practitioner team to provide excellent care to our patients
- Administer injections (medications, vitamins like B12, etc.)
- Ensure medical exam rooms are cleaned and ready between patients.
- Documentation of activities in electronic medical record.
- Educate, follow up with, and update patients as it relates to their medical care
Qualifications:
- Medical Assistant / Practical Nurse experience (Certification / License not required)
- Must be able to administer injections.
- Previous experience in nursing or other medical fields (Preferred 3-5 years)
- Familiarity with medical tools and equipment (Electronic Medical Records)
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Compassionate and caring demeanor
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
