SUMMARY: The health and beauty aid is responsible for maximizing sales through assisting customers in the selection and purchase of merchandise while following all company policies and procedures.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Ensure that each customer receives outstanding service by providing a customer friendly environment which includes greeting and acknowledging every customer, maintaining outstanding standards, solid product knowledge and all other components of customer service.

· Help educate customers about our products and our store philosophy.

· Inform every customer of our loyalty program, in-store classes and events, customer rewards program.

· Responsible for meeting and exceeding individual sales and productivity goals.

· Ensure that all testers within area are continuously in stock and maintained in compliance with hygiene standards.

· Order all produce and ensure stock is kept full and faced at all times within the categories.

· Ensure all resets and planograms are executed as directed.

· Maintain company visual merchandising standards.

· Maintain standards of cleanliness and organization within the HABA area.

· Maintain product knowledge; keep up with the latest trends.

· Discount and get rid of slow sellers.

· Assist in the supplement department.

· May assist in cashiering duties.

· Attend mandatory monthly HABA meetings.

· Attend mandatory monthly store meetings.

· Other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY: This position may have supervisory duties.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: This job operates in a retail environment with merchandise displays and items available for purchase in inventory.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds without assistance. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

TRAVEL: Local travel may be required.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: A high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of relevant work experience in a retail environment. Must be able to work independently and with a team. Aesthetician or cosmetology license is highly desirable.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10s and 100s. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurements, volume, and distance.

COMPUTER SKILLS: To perform this job successfully, an employee should have a working knowledge of Microsoft office and internet usage. POS knowledge highly desirable.
