Metal Scrap Yard is looking for a full-time general labor worker.

DUTIES

• Responsible for grading the ferrous yard material.
• Responsible for buying non-ferrous metals in accordance with state law.
• Be able to work courteously and professionally with customer base
• Maintain a clean and safe workplace
• Learn to safely operate various electrical tools- table grinder, saws, drills, etc.
• Learn to properly record and document all information related to the purchase and storage of all materials
• Learn to safely operate forklifts and skidsteer loader

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

· Able to work outside in the heat for extensive period

· Ability to withstand loud settings

· Good communication skills

· Must be self-motivated, honest and dependable

· Continuous bending, lifting and squatting

· Must be able to lift 50 pounds

· Bi-lingual a plus (Spanish)

· Working knowledge of tools, common appliances, and devices

· Receive and follow verbal directions
