The Green Mountain Habitat for Humanity (GMHFH) ReStore in Milton is seeking a part-time Clothing Associate to support its mission of helping local families build strength, stability, and self-reliance through affordable homeownership.

Schedule: Part time according to store needs
Reports To: ReStore Manager

Summary:
Clothing Associates provide excellent customer service and ensure customers and donors have a safe, positive, and rewarding experience. They work in the clothing area sorting, hanging, and baling clothing donations; cashiering, moving, and loading donations; and other duties as assigned.
Primary Responsibilities:
1. Sort and hang clothing donations as they come in, making sure to set aside any clothing not in good, sellable condition.
2. Safely and carefully operate the baler to bale any clothing not going to the sales floor so that it may be sold at bulk pricing.
3. Assist in keeping the clothing area in safe condition and free of clutter.
4. Promptly assist donors who come to drop off donations and accept or reject them based on whether the items are in good, sellable condition.
5. Greet any donors and customers and thank them for contributing to our cause and answer any questions they may have.
6. Operate the Point-of-Sale cash register system and help customers complete their purchases. While on the register, always stay within sight of the register area and front door.
7. Help to complete the daily checklist for opening and closing the store.
Secondary Responsibilities
1. Help customers carry purchases to their vehicles.
2. Sort and price donations and prepare them to go to the sales floor.
3. Perform other duties as assigned.
