We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of warehouse operations, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. As a Warehouse Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and distributing materials, supervising warehouse staff, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse personnel, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of products.
• Train and mentor warehouse staff on proper procedures and safety protocols.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with purchasing and procurement teams to ensure adequate stock levels.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions, including receipts, shipments, and returns.
• Perform regular inspections of the warehouse to ensure compliance with safety regulations and cleanliness standards.
• Implement and enforce company policies and procedures related to warehouse operations.
• Collaborate with other departments to fulfill customer orders and resolve any issues or discrepancies.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions to increase efficiency and productivity.
• Assist with the development and implementation of training programs for warehouse staff.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a warehouse leadership role, preferably in a fast-paced distribution environment, or 3 years of warehouse experience.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and coach a team.
• Proficient computer skills, including experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
• Forklift certification and experience operating material handling equipment is preferred.
