Green Lawn Fertilizing/Green Pest Solutions is Hiring a Warehouse Operator Near North Wales, PA
We are seeking a Warehouse Operator in our North Wales, PA branch.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to, all aspects of warehouse operators, loading and unloading of GLF production vehicles, mixing and filling of GLF batch tanks, making repairs to GLF equipment as needed and when possible, and understanding all aspects of safety and compliance within the branch and the business.
Essential Functions:
- Must have the physical capability of lifting several 50-lb bags several times throughout the day.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must have valid drivers license.
- Must be willing to learn GLF fill systems and truck plumbing systems and/or willing to learn how these systems work as well as the proper procedures for use.
- Must have ability to use a forklift and obtain and maintain any required certifications surrounding the use of a forklift.
- Ability to work independently throughout extended periods daily.
- Needs to have strong organizational skills and ability to take ownership of daily assigned task.
- Small engine repair maintenance is a plus but not necessary.
- Aid in inspecting GLF production equipment daily and ability to communicate with company mechanic and or branch management in regards to any issues identified.
- Monitor and assist with upholding our vehicle appearance standards to keep vehicles neat and clean; critical to our image and reputation in the community.
- Must be comfortable with utilizing technology.
- Must be able to maintain an organized and clean warehouse and facility on a daily basis.
- Understands all aspects of branch emergency response (i.e. where branch spill kit is located, where branch fire extinguishers are located, where branch first aid kid is located, where branch SDS sheets are located, etc.).
- Understand Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and uses (i.e. ability to locate PPE statement on a product label, use proper PPE when handling, mixing, loading any pesticides, etc.).
- Ability to understand, explain, and maintain daily fill charts, and fill records.
- Ability to unload vendor deliveries during shift.
- Maintain and abide by company personal appearance policy and must be in company provided uniform at all times during shift.
- Ability to effectively communicate with General Manager and or other branch management daily.
- Complies with all safety and compliance aspects of the business at all times.
- Flexibility and ability to operate any company vehicle and be able to transport GLF equipment to and or from other GLF locations as needed.

Work Schedule:
- Monday-Friday, 11:00 am-7:30 pm
- Saturdays are an essential job function and are periodically required based on seasonality and specific needs of the business.
Requirements
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED
- A qualified Warehouse Specialist should be familiar with all aspects of warehouse management within the lawn service business.
- General office computer skills will be needed (i.e. Microsoft Office, Excel, and Word).
- Basic math skills are needed.
- Must have an maintain a clean driving record
- Must be bale to pass DOT Physical, and maintain a valid Medical Examiner's Certificate.
- Must also be able to obtain and maintain Commercial Pesticide Applicator's License and registration within state of employment.
