Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Medical Technician to join our team. As a Medical Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing quality care and support to patients in various healthcare settings. Your responsibilities will include assisting with medical procedures, documenting patient information, and ensuring the overall well-being of patients. Duties: - Perform routine medical procedures such as taking vital signs, collecting specimens, and administering medications - Assist with tube feeding and other specialized care for patients with specific medical needs - Provide support and assistance to patients with dementia or cognitive impairments - Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical documentation and records - Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and effective patient care - Follow all safety protocols and infection control measures - Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality Experience: - Previous experience in assisted living, acute care, or hospital settings is preferred - Familiarity with medical documentation systems such as Epic or other electronic health record systems is a plus - Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures - Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills At our facility, we offer competitive pay rates and comprehensive benefits packages.
