Job Overview:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Caregivers. As a Caregiver, you will provide essential support and assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities or seniors in need of care. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others.
Duties:
- Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Administer medication according to prescribed schedules
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding
- Perform light housekeeping tasks
- Transport clients to appointments or outings
- Monitor and record vital signs as needed
- Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure client privacy and confidentiality
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Experience working with people with developmental disabilities or seniors preferred
- Ability to provide patient care with empathy and compassion
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting and assisting with mobility
- Knowledge of first aid procedures is a plus
- Familiarity with nursing home or assisted living facility protocols is beneficial
