Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Laborer to join our team. As a Laborer, you will be responsible for assisting with various construction tasks and ensuring the smooth operation of the worksite. Our Company handles Fire & Water Mitigation, most demos will involve mitigation of some kind. Laborer should have knowledge and experience in construction, carpentry, handyman work, etc. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with the demolition of structures, including framing, concrete finishing, drywall, ceilings, cabinets, etc.
- Perform general labor duties, including setting up equipment, moving materials, and cleaning the worksite each day.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment
- Collaborate with the construction team to complete projects on time and within budget

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in construction or a related field is strongly preferred
- Knowledge of various construction techniques, frame carpentry, and concrete finishing
- Ability to fabricate and install components accurately
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Excellent physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor tasks
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating materials
- Familiarity with tools and equipment used in construction
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment

- Organization of jobsite, keeping track of materials used, mitigation work done, moisture readings, etc.

Location: Need transportation to and from the office and/or jobsites (locally). Office is located in Branford CT.

Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week

• Weekends as needed
