Green Hills Dental is Hiring a Dental Assistant Near Kansas, MO

Green Hills Dental is a privately held dental practice is seeking a full-time Dental Assistant with 1 years of experience to join our team who will assist the doctor in all chairside duties. With a mission to help improve the oral health of our patients, Green Hills Dental provides the highest level of dental care to promote healthy smiles.

The Ideal candidate must be:

  • The desire to build strong relationships with their patients and other employees
  • Able to multi-task
  • Detail Oriented
  • Be willing to work flexible hours

Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate knowledge of dental terminology, instruments, and equipment
  • Attend to the patients' needs and concerns
  • Prepare patients for treatment, and assist the dentist – thereby enabling them to provide efficient, quality dental treatment
  • Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment in accordance with applicable infection control guidelines
  • Chairside assisting
  • Complete quality radiographs and intra-oral pictures of patients
  • Impression taking, model trimming,
  • Equipment upkeep and maintenance
  • Scheduling and coordinate patients schedule
  • Client/patient face to face interactions and phone skills
  • Willing to help with front office duties when not assisting
  • Other job duties as assigned

Qualification:

  • High school or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 years of Dental Assisting experience
  • Dentrix software experience preferred, but not required
  • Ability to work under pressure
