Green Hill is Hiring a RN Unit Manager Near Orange, NJ

The primary purpose of this position is to direct the day to day functions of the nursing unit in under the direction of the Director of Nursing. Control, organizes and coordinates all unit activity. This direction will be in accordance with current Federal, State and Local standards, regulations, OSHA and HIPAA guidelines. Follow established facility policies and procedures that govern the long term care facility.

Assure that the highest degree of quality care is provided to our residents at all times. Must be a person with imagination and possess the creative skills necessary to work with a variety of people. Should have an empathetic approach to illness and ill-elderly. Must be an able leader in group situations and have a pleasant, friendly personality.

Must be able to execute independent judgment in the absence of the DON when procedures cannot be standardized. Responsible for managing staff. Ensures that full respect is rendered to all residents, visitors’ co-workers and management. Routinely interacts with Medical and Other Professionals.
