As an Inventory Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate inventory management and maintaining a well-organized and efficient system. This position requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Key responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular inventory counts
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy and quality of products
- Organize and stock inventory shelves, ensuring proper product rotation and organization
- Collaborate with the purchasing team to monitor inventory levels and anticipate product needs
- Assist in the preparation of orders for delivery or pickup
- Conduct regular audits to identify and resolve any discrepancies or issues
- Ensure compliance with state regulations and company policies regarding inventory management
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with product inquiries and recommendations
- Collaborate with the sales team to ensure accurate product availability and pricing information

Salary

$15 USD per hour

Required Skills

- Must be 21 years or older
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficient computer skills, including experience with inventory management software
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of cannabis products and strains is preferred, but not required

Desired Skills

- Previous experience in inventory management or related field
- Familiarity with state regulations and compliance requirements for cannabis industry
- Knowledge of cannabis products, strains, and their effects
- Experience with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects as needed for inventory management tasks
