We are currently seeking a highly motivated and organized logistics coordinator to join our team.

JOB DESCRIPTION & RESPONSIBILITIES

As a logistics coordinator, you will play a vital role in supporting the production team and inventory team to ensure the smooth functioning of our operations. Your responsibilities will include:

INVENTORY & LOGISTICS

  • Coordinating the logistics of shipping raw materials, cores, and finished goods among all production facilities, various storage units, and customers.
  • Assisting in managing day-to-day Inventory operations
  • Assisting in Conducting regularly scheduled Cycle Counts to maintain Inventory accuracy
  • Tracking Inventory Freight shipments to various company locations.
  • Coordinating the production of resupply trips to various storage locations across the U.S.
  • Communicating Inventory movements to the customer-facing side of the business.
  • Providing live logistical support to team members with scheduling batteries shipped for specific customers.
  • Coordination and ordering of 12 volt batteries for the company
  • Providing chat support to sales, warranty and leadership team members throughout the entire week. Including weekends for pertinent inventory-related matters.

DELIVERY DRIVER & FLEET MANAGEMENT

  • Partner with HR Manager to ensure all DOT medical certifications are up to date.
  • Participate in interviews and new hire meetings for delivery drivers.
  • Providing chat support to the delivery driver team members throughout the entire week Including weekends.
  • Assisting in maintaining and managing our fleet of company vehicles stationed nationwide, ensuring timely upkeep and servicing.
  • Maintaining company driver qualification file.
  • Assigning and tracking driver LKQYou training.
  • Conducting initial driver training (DOT Vehicles).
  • Ensuring that fleet maintenance procedures are carried out promptly to minimize disruptions.
  • Participating in the yearly review of Fleet needs.
  • Coordinate the disposal of obsolete vehicles.

PREFERRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least 1 year experience in a logistics or inventory related role
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Understanding of the supply chain, including common obstacles and effective solutions
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel and Word, in particular)
  • Proficient in standard logistics software
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Previous experience with ERP systems, preferably Syteline.
  • Previous experience with inventory management
  • Strong communication skills to facilitate interaction with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
  • Effective time management abilities to handle multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborative mindset, capable of working closely with various teams to achieve common goals.
  • High school diploma or equivalent Required
  • Some college experience preferred
