Grecian Delight | Kronos Foods Corp is seeking a Line Operator for our Glendale Heights location. As our Operator you would be responsible for processing duties and maintaining equipment to keep production at optimum efficiency at all times while complying with GMP’s, food safety standards, quality standards, and safe practices. What you are going to be doing… Advocate and work safely and follow all safety rulesMaintain good housekeeping and follow all GMP’s (Good Manufacturing Practices)Work at various positions on an assembly line or other areas within the plantReport any issue found with equipment, materials, and/or finished products, including foreign objectsAssemble, set-up, break-down, and inspect all equipment in the assigned areaOperate equipment and machines; handles/moves product through the manufacturing processMeasure, add, grind, and/or mix ingredients and other raw materialsResponsible for the quality, sanitation, and line performance of each linePerform all duties required to produce a good quality product included, but not limited to, quality checks, equipment set-up, maintain operational parameters, and equipment performanceReport any and all safety concernsPerform all duties necessary to meet third party audit requirements as well as other standards prioritized by the company, to include SQF, HACCP, FSMA, USDA, FDA, etc.Utilize tools and equipment required for each task, including hand trucks, forklift, or other liftsReport on and track productivity using computers, iPads, or other technologyAny and all other duties, as assignedWhat you need to have…Experience in manufacturing environment, with food experience a plus Clear verbal and written communication skillsBasic math skillsBi-lingual (English/ Spanish) a plusShift FlexibilityWhat you will get paid…$16.15/hr. - $17.65/hr. Physical Demands/Work Environment…Manufacturing plant environment with varied temperatures including hot, cold, and freezer. The work environment includes a variety of physical conditions, such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current, working on high places, and/or exposure to chemicals in work setting.
