GreatStar|Arrow Fastener is Hiring an eCommerce Specialist Near Saddle Brook, NJ

Scope of Work:
Reporting to the Senior eCommerce Manager, the eCommerce Specialist will focus on optimizing and driving the eCommerce experience as well as coordinating all aspects of day-to-day eCommerce operations. This individual will be responsible for creating a “best in class” content experience on all retailer vendor partner websites and on our own websites across all brands (Arrow, Pony & Jorgensen).

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Senior eCommerce Manager to build and execute site experiences across our own websites and retailers’ websites.
  • Own entire online listing process from end-to-end including bringing listings live.
  • Manage and maintain the digital product catalog, including product titles, descriptions, images, videos, and all other applicable product attributes.
  • Continuously optimize product detail page copy, titles, descriptions, and keywords to improve the customer shopping experience and increase SEO relevance.
  • Create visually appealing digital content, including images, graphics, and videos for product listings.
  • Craft clear, concise, and engaging product descriptions that highlight key features, benefits, and unique selling points.
  • Ensure accuracy and relevance in product information to aid customers in their purchase decisions.
  • Incorporate relevant keywords strategically within product descriptions to improve search engine visibility.
  • Audit retailer websites to identify gaps in existing marketing content and curate new content as applicable.
  • Collaborate with Product Management on product launch strategy including creation of content and digital assets for new products.
  • Manage some of our eCommerce accounts and assist with annual terms negotiation.
  • Regularly review and interpret KPIs and analytics and translate the data to establish actionable plans for improvements and optimizations.
  • Manage relationship and day-to-day interactions with our 3PL’s .com fulfillment team including monitoring performance.
  • Monitor inventory levels of .com drop ship SKUs at our 3PL and coordinate transfers as applicable to prevent lost sales.
  • Collaborate with marketing team to ensure alignment between customer journey, messaging hierarchy and wireframes throughout all devices, from desktop to mobile.
  • Contribute to the development of the strategy for site features/functionality and execute these across categories to achieve sales and site-level goals.
  • Provide weekly reporting on eCommerce consumer sales and processed POs to support eCommerce business.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience working in eCommerce or a related field.
  • Demonstrate a track record of successful copywriting in the e-commerce industry, showcasing an understanding of product positioning, market trends, and consumer behavior.
  • Familiar with relevant eCommerce platforms and tools, including Google Analytics.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Detail oriented and deadline-driven with a strong a sense of urgency.
  • Previous experience with amateur or hobby-level photography.
  • Basic knowledge of SEO best practices for e-commerce.
  • Extremely well organized and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Highly effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to work independently within a cross-functional team environment, team player and collaborator.
