We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Medical Assistant to join our fast-paced Rhrumatology practice.
Duties:
- Perform clinical duties, including taking vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, and assisting physicians during procedures
- Administer medications and injections under physician's direction
- Provide patient education on medication usage and general healthcare topics
- Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, maintaining medical records, checking voicemails
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
Skills:
- Completion of a Medical Assistant program or relevant certification
- Proficiency in medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Experience in coding and medical administrative support
- Strong patient care skills with the ability to provide exceptional service
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures
- Ability to accurately measure and record vital signs
- Profieciency in basic life support techniques
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
-Experience working in a fast paced hospital or clinical setting is a plus
- 1 year experience (Preferred)
-Bi-lingual is a plus
Travel may be required between our 2 offices.
