Greater Somerset County YMCA is Hiring a Camp Soar Camp of Behaviorist Near Somerset, NJ
Essential Functions:
- Bachelor's Degree strongly desired, high school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience working with youth in an outdoor setting is preferred.
- Ability to stay motivated, professional, patient, positive, hardworking and flexible in an outdoor setting.
- You will gain experience working 1:1 with a variety of children living with/without diagnoses such as conduct disorder, PTSD, bipolar disorder, and autism. Duties include managing the behaviors of the child, implementing the behavior plans, and recording client data daily.
- Enthusiasm and dedication to learn and master curriculum.
- Maintains physical presence, remains alert at all times while on duty, maintains constant visual attention to campers, and remains aware of camp surroundings.
