Greater Rutland County Supervisory Union is seeking an Occupational Therapist to work with students PreK - 12 within our schools. The occupational therapist acts as a collaborative team member to provide occupational therapy as a related service for students to access their education. The occupational therapist should have a working knowledge of Special Education state and federal guidelines, regulations, and laws.Responsibilities include:- evaluate and diagnose the need for educationally related occupational therapy services - create goals and accommodations for Individual Education Plans or other student plans - assists students, through direct therapy, consultation, assistive devices and technology to gain or enhance motor, communication, adaptive, social, behavioral and prevocational/vocational skills in the attainment of curriculum/learning goals.- participate in team meetings, and work closely with all team members
