The Kent County YMCA is seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join our team as a Part-Time After School Program Site Coordinator at Horgan Elementary in West Warwick, RI. As the Site Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in the planning, coordination, and execution of our school-based after-school program, fostering a safe and enriching environment for children and youth.
Do you have experience with Licensed Childcare? Are you a creative individual who loves to help children learn in new and exciting ways? You will take the helm of your own after-school location as part of the YMCA youth development department.
The ideal candidate must meet all of the following requirements:
- Have at least 2 years of experience working with children in a structured environment.
- A Bachelor’s degree, or an Associate's degree or a minimum of 24 hours of college coursework in an applicable field
- Experience crafting curriculum
- Experience mentoring staff
- The heart to serve your community
- The ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, school staff and the community
