Preschool Bus Driver
The Position
The purpose of this position is to participate in a program which is developmentally appropriate for children in your assigned age group. The Bus Driver must maintain licensing requirements for the State of Michigan and the family center at all times. There is consistent interaction with children, parents/guardians and staff. Our main goal is to maintain positive working conditions and relationships.
Major Job Responsibilities
- Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of the children at all times, being alert for the needs of the children as individuals and as a group.
- Be familiar with the Parent Handbooks and Employee Policy Handbook.
- Maintain good communication with children, parents/guardians and staff.
- Follow all operating laws while driving the bus.
- Maintain a safe, clean environment for the children.
Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Must have a valid Driver’s License
- Must maintain a Chauffer’s License
- Must pass a background check
