MPS Group is seeking an Experienced Sales Executive for our Farmington Hills, MI location.

This position is for Farmington Hills Michigan!!!!!!!!!!

Minimum 3-5 years of relevant industry experience!!!!!! (Not Negotiable)

The Sales Executive for Facilities Services Group is responsible for the full cycle of sales activity to increase and sustain revenue. The Sales Executive reports to the MPS Director of Sales and is also required to work in close partnership with the Facilities Service Group General Manager, with a primary focus to grow sales with current customers and identify & secure new customers. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Expand MPS Group presence with new customers in existing & diverse markets through a focus on new business development
  • Develop and implement business development strategies to drive new customer contact and increase company customer portfolio
  • Coordinate site visits and job site walk throughs
  • Drive new RFP costing & estimating process and develop bid/quote proposals in timely and accurate manner
  • Develops professional written proposals & company presentations
  • Thoroughly understand MPS Group service capabilities including strengths and weakness and apply knowledge during lead generation
  • Responsible for revenue growth in assigned business division to achieve annual budgets and growth plans
  • Assist Executive and Senior Management in business planning efforts
  • Attend trade shows & develop marketing tools/plans to effectively identify and reach new customer targets (lead generation)
  • As required, works with the purchasing department and vendors to obtain favorable subcontractor and material pricing & terms to reduce job costs and increase company competitiveness
  • In partnership with management, negotiate new customer agreements and contracts
  • Prepare and delivery customer introductory & proposal technical presentations
  • Build & maintain relationships with existing customers to drive customer loyalty and promote organic sales growth
  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant industry experience (paint booth management systems, industrial cleaning tools and techniques, industrial and/or facilities estimating & bid/proposal preparation)
  • Sales experience including prospecting, and problem solving as an active partner with operations team (3 years minimum)
  • Articulate, concise communicator (written & verbal) with excellent presentation skills
  • Working knowledge of manufacturing industries and the ability to maintain customer relationships in matrixed and/or complex hierarchical corporate environments
  • Has a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint

LANGUAGE/COMMUNICATION SKILLS

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret customer specifications, blueprints, technical requirements and safety & environmental standards
  • Ability to present to customers
  • Ability to respond to inquiries or complaints from customers
  • Ability to present information to colleagues & management
  • Ability to communicate the customer needs and requirements effectively

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

  • Ability to apply common mathematical concepts and understand basic accounting concepts and financial applications

REASONING ABILITY

  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid & accurate conclusions
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

  • Licensed to operate a vehicle (Driver’s license or Operator License) and currently possess or has ability to secure a valid US passport

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Required to sit or stand, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch. Will frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and will occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds. Will climb stairs, on rare occasion climb ladder. Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. May be exposed in short intervals to extreme temperature (outdoor job walks) and loud manufacturing settings.

TRAVEL

  • This position can require frequent overnight travel, sometimes on short notice. Travel includes instate and interstate driving and a significant amount of travel by air. International travel is typically limited to Canada.

As a leader in Paint Shop Optimization, the primary responsibility is to sustain our In-Plant Services Program, providing responsive supervision to a multi-shift unionized operations, managing both hourly and salary, team members. The ideal Site Manager candidate must be able to partner cohesively with senior management, supplier customers, vendors, and stakeholders, to ensure all company performance goals and objectives are met and maintained.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee the administration of the site safety program and assurance that safe work practices are adopted and practiced
Drive budget set/tracking / cost saving initiatives / Kaizen review
Perform consistent non-routine pre-task risk assessments (PTSP)
Proactively interface with the operations team and Leadership to address program's weekly strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats (SWOT)
Responsible for driving quality booth optimization and continuous improvement reports
Ensure standardization of work through the development of TISs and standardized work schedules
Manage training matrix and ensure all training is up to date
Develop measurable audit programs to assess the quality of the team’s work (LPAs, buy-offs, SOTs, etc)
Perform basic accounting tasks
Coordinate and track employee work schedules and consumables
Generate and approve purchase orders and invoices
Lead and mentor Lead Supervisor personnel
Create, review and track management performance metrics with the salary staff
Prefer candidates that are mechanical inclined to operate/understand industrial cleaning equipment issues
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION
• Prefer five years of manufacturing experience with direct supervisory responsibilities
• Preference for three years of Automotive paint experience
• Proven success in account management including personnel management, procedure implementation, P&L management and investigative solutions
• Proficient Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• ISO 9000 and/or ISO 14001, experience desirable
• Accelerative philosophy skills in management with the ability to rapidly adjust to changing atmospheres and to foresee current and future opportunities for growth
The annual salary range for the position is between $70K to $75K
