Part-Time Allergy Technician

Join our growing practice! Greater Knoxville Ear, Nose & Throat is an established and busy surgical specialty practice seeking a part-time Allergy Technician. Applicants must be able to multi-task, be well organized and detail-oriented. LPN or CMA and previous allergy shot experience preferred. Salary commensurate with experience.

Allergy Technician Responsibilities:

• Performs allergy testing, administers injections, medications and treatments according to protocol.
• Prepares immunotherapy testing sets and mixes vials for allergy patients.
• Observes patients for any adverse reactions and effectively manages emergency situations and treats accordingly.
• Provides general patient care and education.
• Keeps Shot room stocked and organized
• Obtains and documents any necessary patient information
• Works with physician regarding the allergy patient's treatment plan.
• Maintaining a flexible work schedule with the ability to travel between office locations
