The Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority (RTA) provides transportation services for 150,000-200,000 customers on a typical week day, or about 45 million rides annually, through a variety of services. The Greater Cleveland RTA is searching for an Assistant Equipment Manager - Bus for our Hayden District.

Detailed Description

Duties:

The Talent Acquisition Business Partner is responsible for all facets of workforce planning, full-cycle recruitment, and the candidate selection process. Under direction of the Talent Acquisition Manager, this position will work with District Directors and Managers to address existing and anticipated recruitment and staffing needs. Must be knowledgeable of requirements and selection processes for all positions within assigned locations. Develops recruiting plans and timelines for position vacancies with hiring managers. Prepares job postings and distributes to recruitment sources. Sources passive candidates through digital platforms, networking, and community partners. Conducts all facets of the screening, employment testing, and interviewing process. Prepares salary recommendations to extend and negotiates job offers. Develops a pipeline of experienced and entry level candidates to anticipate future hiring needs. Promotes a safe and secure atmosphere, follow all safety and security rules and perform other related duties as assigned.
Job Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

A Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, or a related field from an accredited college or university is required. A minimum of two (2) years of Recruiting experience in a Human Resources or Staffing Agency environment is required. Previous experience supporting Talent Acquisition in a union environment is preferred.
The following experience will be considered in lieu of a Bachelor degree.
  • High School Diploma and 8 years of additional related work experience
  • Associate Degree and 4 years of additional related work experience

Mental Demands: Reading, watching, studying, observing, focused listening, proofreading, evaluating. Ability to give, receive and analyze information, prepare written materials. Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written); interpret policy, procedures and data.
