The Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority (RTA) provides transportation services for 150,000-200,000 customers on a typical weekday, or about 45 million rides annually, through a variety of services. Position Summary:
The Internal Communications Specialist is responsible for supporting the execution and monitoring of internal and external communications. This position will work closely with the Marketing team to ensure communications are clear, consistent, and meet the goals of the campaign and agency. This role creates and develops compelling content to strengthen the agency’s public image and company culture, through face-to-face interactions with employees and by facilitating projects and meetings both in person (e.g., workplace facility visits) and in digital environments (e.g. employee social media group/s). Content may consist of, but is not limited to, newsletters, emails, digital communications, or printed materials. Although the position is primarily a typical 40-hour-a-week job, on occasion, the Internal Communications Specialist will be required to work outside of normal working hours, as well as on weekends. This position does not offer remote work.
