Greater Chicago Specialty Physicians is Hiring a Certified Nurse Assistant or Certified Medical Assistant Near York, IL

Busy Rheumatology Practice is searching for a Part or Full-Time Nurse Assistant or Medical Assistant for our Oakbrook Terrace office with travel to our Schaumburg or Orland Park office.

Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Obtain vital signs and update medical histories within EMR.
Prepare blood draws and lab tests, as needed.
Transmit prescription refills as directed by the physician.
Insurance verification and prior authorizations for medications, procedures, and injections.
Reconciliation of results.
Document scanning and fax management.
Timely return of patient calls.
Understanding and complying with HIPAA policies and procedures.
Maintain clean exam rooms and exam room inventory.
Maintaining clinical supplies inventory.
Front desk responsibilities.

Education:

Nurse Assistant or Medical Assistant Degree with certification.

Experience:

At least 1 year of experience in a medical office setting is preferred.
Proficient in computer applications/EMR.
Must have excellent customer service, a team player, dependable, phone etiquette, multitask, organizational skills, and demonstrate excellent work ethics and professionalism.
