Our movers perform a variety of strenuous tasks such as loading, transporting, and unloading our customers' belongings to their new location. $20 - $35 hourly

Responsibilities:

• Certify there are no items missing with client and team members before leaving
• Protect furniture with moving blankets or plastic wrap
• Arrange the moving truck with items that need to be moved
• Confirm work orders and communicate with client on moving preferences
• Transport a variety of heavy, large, and fragile items carefully

• Load, pack and unload items with care
• Deliver and set up furniture inside client homes, as required or requested
• Respond to inquiries and requests from clients in a professional manner
• Protect all donated furniture from damage through established best practices
• Collect payments and issue receipts
• Assist clients with loading and unloading their luggage
• Adjust the route to avoid heavy traffic or road constructions, as needed
• Regular cleaning and maintenance services for the vehicle

Qualifications:

• Physical stamina requirements: standing, bending, and climbing stairs for long periods time, and repeatedly lifting 50 pounds alone or 100 pounds with team members
• Applicant should be collaborative, reliable, and have excellent customer service and communication skills
• Applicants who have obtained a commercial driver’s license (CDL) is preferred, but not required
• Driver’s license and clean driving record is required
• High school diploma or GED is preferred, but not required

• Proven work experience as a Mover or similar role
• Knowledge of area roads and neighborhoods
• Availability to occasionally take weekend and night shifts
• Proven experience as a Driver
• Ability to remain calm in stressful driving situations (e.g. at rush hour)
