Greater Atlanta Christian School is Hiring a High School English Teacher Near Norcross, GA

Greater Atlanta Christian School (GACS) is a leading independent school in northeast Georgia in Norcross. We are still in the process of determining our needs for the 2024-25 school year. In the meantime, we are proactively seeking engaging Christian individuals who would be interested in joining our faculty community for the next school year.

Do you want to?

  • Teach curriculum in the respective discipline for grades 9-12,
  • Assess students and analyze results; refine and differentiate classroom instruction based on assessment data and student needs,
  • Collaborate with colleagues to improve instructional practices throughout the school; share best practices,
  • Communicate regularly with students and their families about classroom activities and student progress,
  • Manage student behavior to ensure every student is fully engaged,
  • Maintain regular office hours in order to advise and assist students in a variety of areas including potential careers in their related field of study,
  • Actively participate in professional development activities,
  • Identify unique student needs and collaborate with team members to effectively address those needs,
  • Serve as sponsors of student organizations and participate in campus and community events,
  • Support the mission, vision, and core values of Greater Atlanta Christian School, and
  • Perform other related work as needed.

  • Knowledge of and experience with relevant technology.
