Position Summary: Responsible for administration and efficient daily operation of the branch office, including operations, product sales, customer service, and security and safety in accordance with the bank’s objectives. Develops new deposit and retail loan business (including outside sales calls), provides a superior level of customer service and promotes the service culture through coaching, guidance and staff motivation. The branch manager provides leadership, training and supervision in an effort to achieve individual and branch sales goals. Oversees the branch teller and CSR functions, and customer service duties. Must also be familiar with IRA services and banking products and services. The Branch manager will assist Customer Service Representatives, including covering staffing shortfalls. Will accurately and efficiently process and record routine transactions for bank customers including cashing checks, accepting deposits and withdrawals, processing loan payments and money transfers. Open and close deposit accounts, assist with digital banking, cross-sell the Bank’s products and services and promote business for the bank by maintaining good customer relations. This position will also be knowledgeable in vault balancing, safe deposit, and electronic services.
Job Duties
· Supervise the day to day operational functions of the branch including vault and drawer balancing, overseeing teller and customer service duties and assisting with customer transactions.
· Approve customer and bank transactions within authority limits (including Overdrafts)
· Be knowledgeable about all deposit and consumer (including mortgage) loan products
· Maintain proper teller and vault cash levels including ordering coin and currency
· Responsible for communicating the general maintenance of the facility to the president. Ensure that all security procedures are followed, branch is operationally sound, and respond to audits.
· Collaborate in the hiring, training and retention of staff
· Supervise, coach, and develop staff regarding service expectations, policies, procedures, products, systems and banking transactions.
· Facilitate regular employee meetings (including huddles) to discuss goals, disseminate company information, discuss operational issues, etc.
· Maintain staff schedules to provide adequate coverage
· Assists in ensuring that the branch is in compliance with federal laws and regulations
· Contribute to the fulfillment of department and company objectives and goals.
· Assist in evaluating staff’s work performance by helping to prepare and deliver annual reviews and disciplinary notices (if needed)
· Develop and maintain reports regarding cross-sales, productivity and efficiency
· Promote various growth strategies for the bank
· ATM Responsibilities
· Communication with operations manager with issues and possible losses
· Communication of community and bank events, including be involved in specified events
· Other duties as assigned

Education/Experience
