Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate Material Handling operations
• Ensure that equipment and materials are transported properly, safely and efficiently in accordance with good Material Handling practices and operating techniques
• Operate material transporting equipment to convey materials and products to designated location, equipment could include forklift, standup lift, motorized power jack and other equipment as required
• Load and unload designated trailers, move product and/or materials manually as required
• Other duties may be assigned that require other qualifications, physical demands, and/or work environment.
• Follow all Great Plains and OSHA safety regulations and wear prescribed safety and protective equipment.

Qualifications:

• Must have forklift experience
• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Understand and administer company policies and procedures to insure consistency with company direction
• Understand team concepts and be a strong team player
• Excel in fast paced, high-pressure situations
• Understanding of Lean Concepts and implementation
