Great Lakes Water Authority is Hiring a Management Professional - Maintenance Near Detroit, MI

Compensation: $68,536 - $96,210 (Based on Experience)Summary:Responsible for planning, leading, organizing, controlling, and executing various projects and tasks for a unit. Responsible for developing and maintaining best practices and procedures to ensure accurate and timely deliverables. May work independently or with a team to achieve operational efficiencies.Job Responsibilities:Establish and maintain relationships with internal/external clients, vendors, and other stakeholdersDevelop and maintain processes and procedures consistent with best practices, federal, state, and local lawsAchieve operational efficiencies by forecasting requirements, contributing information, and presenting recommendationsIdentify and implement process improvements, team member training needs, provide on-the-job training, and new technologyAnalyze variances and initiate corrective actions needed to ensure timely completion of assigned projectsPrepare and generate documentation to support audit requirementsSupport the Director and/or Manager with administrative duties, team coordination, and communicationsProvide analyses, performance indicators, and reports for the management team, board, committees, and all other stakeholdersStay current with industry trends by participating in educational opportunities and professional/community organizationsFollow security and safety policies and procedures in carrying out work dutiesPrepare and present status reports to management as neededRespond to all requests for project informationCoordinate meetings and tasks with other units across the organizationDevelop, install, test, and monitor systems including software applications, conversions, and upgrades monitoringPerform related work duties as assignedRequired Education and Experience:Transcripts or Diploma Required:All applicants for this classification must upload a copy of their college transcript or college diploma.
