Great Lakes Management is looking for a full-time Roving Maintenance Technician! This position provides maintenance services to three properties: Broadway Court in Robbinsdale on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays; Willows of Ham Lake on Tuesdays; Chauncey Barett Gardens of Centerville on Thursdays.

Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:

* Assist in maintaining all mechanical equipment, emergency systems, building fixtures and groundwork as needed.

* Complete all work orders quickly and efficiently.

* Report any problems/deficiencies to the Director of Maintenance

* Knowledgeable of building codes and regulatory compliance issues.

* Interacts positively with all team members in maintaining census by immediately completing apartment turns

* Maintain the grounds, trash, sweep, dumpster areas, snowplow, etc.

* Test the resident security systems as required.

* Assist with custodial duties which include but not limited to, trash removal, carpet cleaning, etc.

* Perform any maintenance task necessary as directed.

Maintenance Technician Qualifications:

* At least one year of maintenance experience required.

* Boiler License preferred, but not required.

* Skills in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, appliances, doors & windows.

* Ability to motivate oneself and work independently

* Current, valid driver's license.

Working Hours:

This position participates in an on-call rotation; two weeks on, two weeks off at five properties in Ramsey, Oak Grove, Centerville, Ham Lake, and Robbinsdale.
