Director of Nursing Job Details:

• Hours - Full-Time

Responsibilities:

• Director of Nursing completed initial assessment of prospective residents requesting an assessment and develops a proposed service plan.
• Reviews and revises service plans as needed due to changes in residents' needs and a minimum of once every 12 months.
• Oversee medication management protocols, including storage, administration, and disposal.
• Supervise and support nursing staff, including Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), and unlicensed personnel.
• Ensure compliance with state regulations and industry standards for resident care.
• Conducts evaluation of staff performance of delegated nursing services in coordination with the Executive Director through appropriate documentation and consistent with personnel policies.
• Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff, fostering a positive work environment.
• Coordinate with healthcare providers and families to address resident health concerns.
• Promotes a positive, team approach and a healthy work environment.

Qualifications:

• Registered and licensed RN in the State of Minnesota, license must be current.
• Valid Driver's license
• Strong organizational skills with a proactive approach to tasks
