Title : Laboratory Shipping and Receiving Clerk - Temp to Perm

Pay : $17.00 hourly

Schedule : M-F 7 : 30 AM 4 : 00 PM

Summar y : Responsible for receiving, opening small boxes, processing, and disinfecting dental impressions through production.

Packs orthodontic appliances to process shipments.

1. Opens and disinfects incoming mail. Dates to meet doctor’s requirements.

2. Packs orthodontic appliances and preps for shipping weighing between 2-5 lbs.

3. Prepares foreign cases for shipment.

4. 2nd Point of entry-runs credit card orders.

5. Fills head gear orders.

6. Performs telephone and basic computer work as required.

8. Performs various housekeeping tasks such as sweeping and emptying garbage.

Education and / or Experience :

Highschool Diploma or equivalent

Minimum Requirement for this Job :

• Demonstrate has basic math skills (add, subtract, multiple & divide).
• Basic computer skills.
• Good telephone communication skills.
• Previous shipping & receiving experience preferred.

Reasoning Ability :

• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written and oral instructions.
• Ability to deal with problems involving several variables in standardized situations.
• Ability to review data, draw conclusions and make suggestions based on data.
