Great Falls Honda is Hiring a PRN ELITE RN - Emergency Department Near Great Falls, MT

WE ARE SEEKING REGISTERED NURSES TO JOIN OUR PRN ELITE POOL

You must be able to meet the following requirements to employ under this status:

  1. Two (2) years of experience in designated position.
  2. Schedule for at least one organization designated holiday or two weekends per calendar year, and
  3. Scheduled a minimum of 500 hours per calendar year.

If while on PRN status, the employee refuses 3 consecutive requests to fill shifts in a 6-month period (in accordance with the availability information obtained from the employee), the manager must notify Human Resources; the employee may be removed from the pool.

If an employee has not worked in 3 months, in accordance with the availability information obtained, the employee may be removed from the pool.

Along with PREMIUM HOURLY RATES, there is quarterly BONUS opportunities:

Bronze – Schedule a minimum of 96 hours per quarter with a $200 bonus

Silver – Schedule a minimum of 192 hour per quarter with a $500 bonus

Gold– Schedule a minimum of 240 hours per quarter with a $1000 bonus 

*Premium Pay rates are determined by position and need.

Description of Position: Provides direct and indirect patient care in the emergency care setting. Provides care that reflects initiative, flexibility and responsibility indicative of professional expectation with a minimum of supervision. Is able to triage safely, rapidly and accurately, on physical and psychosocial needs, as well as factors influencing patient flow through the system. Communicates with ER Physicians and/or Mid-level providers about changes in patient status, symptomology and results of diagnostic studies. Is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. Works cooperatively with: Patients, families, physicians and mid-level providers, allied health staff and healthcare professionals. Gives direction to: Emergency Department techs, registration staff and allied health staff. Receives direction from: Emergency Department Director, Physicians and Mid-level providers and DON.

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the Emergency Department 

License(s)/Certification(s):

Current Montana State RN License is required. BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC required or obtained within 6 months of hire. Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) preferred.

Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

Emergency Department nursing principles and procedures.

Basic office skills, basic computer knowledge, IV skills, ability to operate manual and electronic medical equipment.
