Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Infant Teacher to join our team. As a Infant Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds and futures of young children. You will create a safe and nurturing environment where children can learn, grow, and develop essential skills for their continued .
Responsibilities:
- Implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities that promote learning and development in areas conducive to infant care .
- Provide a variety of engaging activities to stimulate cognitive, social, and physical development.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages creativity, curiosity, and exploration.
- Monitor and assess each child's progress, providing individualized support and guidance as needed.
- Collaborate with parents/guardians to ensure open communication regarding their child's progress and needs.
- Maintain accurate records of each child's attendance, behavior, and developmental milestones.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in the classroom at all times.
- Follow all licensing regulations, policies, and procedures.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree, Associate's Degree, high school diploma or previous experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting.
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices.
- Ability to follow engaging lesson plans that cater to infants
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with children, parents/guardians, and colleagues.
- Patience, compassion, and the ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism.
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Physical ability to actively engage with children in activities such as physical education.
