A highly regarded Top Ten manufacturer is actively seeking a skilled Process Technician specializing in plastic injection molding for a prominent manufacturing facility in Vermont. The Process Technician will be responsible for overseeing all compliance and processing activities during their designated shift. This includes executing start-up procedures, managing in-process activities, adhering to shutdown requirements, overseeing part containment, monitoring scrap levels, handling materials, submitting maintenance requests, performing mold sets/pulls, and fulfilling other assigned duties. Participation in the daily 5S and Process Audit program is a key aspect of the role.
Who Will Be a Great Fit?
- 2 years of experience as a Process Technician in plastic injection molding.
- Proficiency in executing line clearance activities following corporate methods.
- Competence in process, robotic, and cycle time verification during start-up, with the submission of start-up shots to Quality as per QAR/CP.
- Experience in completing in-process mold PMs at the prescribed frequency outlined in the Process Binder.
- Ability to initiate work orders for repairing issues with molds, molding machines, and auxiliary equipment.
- Familiarity with 5S and Process audits.
