Grayson College is Hiring an Adult Promise Program Coordinator Near Denison, TX

Adult Promise Program Coordinator: This position oversees and directs all initiatives that support the successful planning and implementation of the Promise Program. The Coordinator will partner with school district superintendents, high school counselors, as well as other College departments to develop and implement the program.

The salary range for this position is $49,763.28 to $74,644.92 annually.

Responsibilities

  • 30% Manages a comprehensive program including all initiatives that support the successful planning and implementation of the Adult Promise Program.
  • 20% Partners with College departments, industry partners, and others to build community awareness and resources for the program. Partnerships with College recruiters and industry partners to coordinate enrollment processes and adult-specific student success supports will be expected..
  • 15% Conducts research, analyzes data, and creates tracking mechanisms. Develops and maintains a database to track program cohorts within participating industries
  • 10% Partners with Marketing and Communications to develop promotional materials.
  • 10% Coordinates events and activities to increase awareness of the Adult Promise Program to recruit and retain students.
  • 10% Develops and tracks budget for program.
  •  5% Performs other duties and special projects as assigned.

  • Maintains current knowledge of district policies and enforces policies.
  • Promotes the principles of diversity, equity, and inclusion in the educational environment.
  • Complies with all federal and state laws and regulations relating to higher education.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience: Two years to five years of similar or related experience.
  • Interpersonal Skills: The ability to motivate or influence others is a material part of the job, requiring a significant level of diplomacy and trust. Obtaining cooperation (internally and/or externally) is an important part of the job and a high level of interpersonal skills is critical to the success of this position. Work frequently involves contacts requiring considerable discussion of problems, material presentations, and resolving issues impacting departments or divisions.
  • Other Skills: Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams in planning and implementing activities and events.
  • Physical Requirements: The work may include walking, standing, bending, carrying of light items, driving an automobile, etc. No special physical demands are required to do the work.
  • Work Environment: Regular exposure to favorable conditions such as those found in a typical office.
