Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Clerk. This position plays a crucial role in managing financial transactions and ensuring accuracy in our accounting processes. The ideal candidate will have experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable, along with knowledge of accounting software and reconciliation procedures.

Responsibilities:
- Process accounts payable invoices, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Review and reconcile vendor statements, resolving any discrepancies
- Prepare and issue payments to vendors, following company policies and procedures
- Monitor accounts receivable balances and follow up on outstanding payments
- Generate customer invoices and statements, ensuring accuracy and completeness

- Generate reports detailing accounts payables status

- Understand expense accounts and cost centers

- Understands compliance issues around accounts payable processes (W-9, sales tax, etc. )
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve any billing or payment issues
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions in the accounting system
- Assist with month-end closing activities, including account reconciliations
- Assist with other administrative tasks as needed

Experience:
- Previous experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable roles
- Proficiency in using accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks Online, bill.com)
- Knowledge of account reconciliation procedures
- Familiarity with HRIS systems such as ADP is a plus
- High degree of attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines

- Desire to work in a team environment with a positive attitude

- Ability to adapt to varying responsibilities

- 3-5 years of related experience
