About InvestigateTV en Español:

InvestigateTV en Español is a bilingual extension of Gray TV’s InvestigateTV, which is an English-language national award-winning investigative program that is distributed across 113 TV markets in the US. The newly launched bilingual version of InvestigateTV will feature investigations from Gray TV’s award-winning InvestigateTV unit, consumer, health and original content curated from Gray’s expansive number of news stations.

InvestigateTV en Español will be produced out of Atlanta, GA, and distributed to 15 Telemundo stations across the US. Ideal candidates will have a passion for producing and informing the community through credible journalism.

Job Summary/Description:

InvestigateTV en Español is looking for a Bilingual Anchor/Producer to host a Spanish-language newsmagazine show centered on investigative journalism. Anchor/Producer will be part of team that transposes highly engaging, in-depth, and innovative English language investigations into premium Spanish-language content with a high level of accuracy in translations.

Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Strong storytelling ability and on-air presence; must possess excellent on-air delivery.

- Works with a teamwork mentality to create a high-quality Spanish-language newsmagazine show tailored for a national Hispanic audience.

- Must have a strong ability to translate English to Spanish and write/produce with the highest level of accuracy.

- Must possess strong editorial judgment and ethics.

- Experience collaborating between Spanish and English language newsrooms is a plus.

- Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements:

- BS/BA in journalism or communications

- At least 5 years of experience in television

- Ability to produce compelling programming

- Knowledge of local news and newscast production a plus

- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written

- Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

- Familiarity with ENPS, BitCentral and digital content management systems

- Excellent time management skills

- Candidate speaks and writes both English and Spanish.

- Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.
