Job Title: AV Technician (Part Time)

Location: Johnston, IA 50131

Duration: 12 Months Contract extendable

Pay: $20/hr to $23/hr on W2 without benefits

Shift: Flexible Hours

Description:

• Routinely check audio visual (AV) equipment in conference spaces per provided checklist (test each piece of AV equipment, clean specific items, etc.).
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks and resolve issues found to extent possible.
• Communicate with AV team as needed to help resolve outstanding issues.
• Prioritize rooms that have a known issues first as directed by AV team each shift.
• Document findings and fixes in rooms checked and update asset database for changes in equipment as needed.
• Work under direction of AV team to assist with special projects including installing and disposing of equipment to maintain or improve equipment across campus.
• In addition to assisting with equipment needs, be available to help with meeting support needs as requested (help with sound checks, basic meeting starts, record meetings, etc.).
• Routinely check rooms for proper furniture arrangement and align as appropriate to meet standard set ups.
• Assist with furniture resets as needs arise within overall Conference Services team.
• Upon hiring, normal schedule will be established with supervisor with exceptions for personal and work-related flexibility discussed and agreed upon.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Salary: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 15 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
