Job Overview:

We are currently seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to join our team. As a Sales Manager at Gravitate Production, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth by establishing and nurturing relationships with clients seeking top-notch audio-visual solutions for their events. Your primary responsibility will be to understand the unique requirements of each client, showcase our extensive range of services, and collaborate with our talented production team to create tailored solutions that exceed expectations.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

· Networking: Represent Gravitate Productions at local and national networking events, conferences and tradeshows to grow brand awareness and develop new business.

· Client Engagement: Initiate and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their event objectives and providing expert advice on audio-visual solutions to enhance their experiences.

· Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets. Identify new business opportunities, generate leads, and convert prospects into satisfied clients.

· Product Knowledge: Stay abreast of industry trends and Gravitate Production's latest offerings. Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of our services, including video conferencing, audio/visual/lighting, LED walls, projection mapping, staging, rigging, video editing, graphic work, AR/VR, broadcasting, and special effects.

· Custom Solutions: Collaborate with our production team to create customized audio-visual solutions that align with clients' event objectives, ensuring a seamless and memorable experience.

· Proposal Development: Prepare and present compelling proposals that showcase the value of Gravitate Production's services and address the specific needs of each client.

· Contract Negotiation: Lead contract negotiations, ensuring terms are favorable for both the client and Gravitate Production. Close deals and manage the contract process efficiently.

· Market Awareness: Keep a pulse on the competitive landscape, identifying opportunities and challenges in the market. Provide insights to the leadership team for strategic decision-making.

· Budget Management: Ensure projects are executed within budget constraints while maintaining high-quality standards. Effectively manage the sub-rental of equipment to ensure client need and office profitability

Qualifications:

· Strong sales experience with attention to detail.

· Ability to meet or exceed sales goals

· Experience in the AV industry and knowledge of AV equipment.

· Demonstrates leadership ability - able to achieve desired results through others

· Planning Skills – able to effectively plan ahead

· Organization Skills – ability to manage multiple projects and tasks

· Problem Analysis – Ability to breakdown problems and find solutions

· Ability to work diligently, calmly, and professionally under tight run-of-show deadlines.

· Excellent customer service and communication skills.

· Provide a VIP customer service experience.

· Attention to detail and the ability to address issues promptly.

· Team player mindset.

· Continually increase audiovisual skills and knowledge

· Maximize revenue potential

· Effectively utilize the company’s business software

· Ensure client billing is completed accurately and on-time

· Maintaining a high level of professional appearance, demeanor, ethics and image of self, as well as subordinates

Job Requirements:

· Valid Driver's License and Reliable Transportation

· Local daily driving to hotel, venue, etc.

· Travel: 10-20% overnight nationally.

· Ability to lift 50 lbs
