Gratiot Integrated Health Network (GIHN) has an immediate opening for a part-time mental health provider, to provide crisis intervention services in the community.
GIHN is focused on providing a healthy work-life balance with flexible scheduling.
The Crisis Intervention Specialist is responsible for providing crisis intervention and hospital pre-screening for at-risk consumers.
This candidate may also be responsible for completing intake assessments, chart reviews and other community outreach activities.
This candidate must be able to collaborate effectively with other crisis team members and hospital ED staff. May also provide coordination and support to individuals experiencing a mental health crisis while admitted to the inpatient unit.
EMPLOYMENT CLASSIFICATION : Part-Time, Occasional Weekends
PAY RANGE : $27.53 - $34.84, plus a shift differential of $1.00 / hour for third shift hours worked.

Requirements
EMPLOYMENT QUALIFICATIONS : Must be a Mental Health Professional (MHP) who is trained in and experienced in the area of mental illness or developmental disabilities AND who is one of the following : a physician, psychologist, a licensed Registered Nurse (RN), licensed master social worker, limited-licensed master social worker, licensed professional counselor, and limited-licensed professional counselor, OR a licensed bachelor social worker, or limited-licensed bachelor social worker acting within their scope of practice.
Michigan licensure appropriate to professional degree is required, i.e., LLBSW, LBSW, LPC, LLPC, LLMSW, LMSW.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS : The candidate must maintain documentation to agency and professional standards. A valid Michigan Driver's License is required to operate an agency vehicle or to transport consumers.
Candidates must meet successful clearance of criminal and driving background checks.
