Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Survey/CAD Technician/SIT with expertise in Civil 3D and MicroStation/OpenRoads Designer. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our surveying by utilizing advanced CAD software to assist in the creation of accurate and precise survey drawings.
Responsibilities:
· Utilize Civil 3D and MicroStation/OpenRoads Designer to produce accurate survey drawings, including topographic surveys, boundary surveys, and construction staking plans.
· Process and manage survey data, ensuring its accuracy and completeness for use in CAD drawings.
· Work closely with surveyors, engineers, and other team members to understand project requirements and incorporate design changes into CAD drawings.
· Conduct thorough reviews of CAD drawings to ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
· Maintain organized and up-to-date project documentation, including CAD files, survey data, and project records.
· Address and resolve any CAD-related issues or discrepancies that may arise during the course of a project.
· Stay updated on the latest advancements in CAD technology and software, and apply new skills to enhance project efficiency.
Qualifications:
· Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Survey CAD Technician, with a strong focus on using Civil 3D and MicroStation/OpenRoads Designer.
· Proficient in using CAD software, specifically Civil 3D and MicroStation/OpenRoads Designer.
· Solid understanding of surveying principles, topographic mapping, and drafting techniques.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with team members and clients.
· Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate and high-quality CAD drawings.
· Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and contribute to the success of the overall project.
· Proven ability to identify and solve CAD-related problems efficiently.
