Grassmaster Plus Inc is Hiring a Remote Inside Sales Representative (on-site)

Grassmaster Plus, Inc. has been providing Full-Service Lawn and Plant Health Care for clients in the North Shore and Metro North since 1980. We are seeking to hire a motivated sales professional with a positive and outgoing personality to join our Inside Sales team to help us continue to grow and expand. If you have experience with retail sales, door to door sales or a call center background, this position would be ideal for you!
This is an on-site position at our office in Georgetown, MA.
Essential Responsibilities
  • Communicate with potential and existing customers through high-volume outbound calls to close sales and achieve sales targets.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with potential and existing customers by providing service and product-related information and quotes, answering inquiries, and understanding their needs.
  • Sell/upsell products and services to potential and existing customers and follow up on leads. 
  • Prepare and send out marketing materials.
  • Enter pertinent data into applicable internal software system(s).
  • Stay informed with product and service information and updates.
  • Responsible for other duties as assigned, including generating new leads through cold calling.
Required Qualifications
  • H.S. Diploma or equivalent
  • 2 years of customer service experience, with a demonstrated ability to sell/upsell products and services
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to multi-task
  • Ability to work efficiently as leads come in and take the necessary steps to follow up and generate sales
  • Proficient with various computer and internet applications and able to learn as you go
  • Understanding that this is a volume industry, more calls = more sales
  • The ability to explain our industry products and their benefits to the average person
Preferred Qualifications
  • Post-secondary education
  • 1 years of direct inside sales experience
  • Lawn care experience or knowledge
  • Experience with HubSpot
