Position Summary:
Essential Functions:
- Perform routine maintenance, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment, machinery, facilities, and facility systems to ensure optimal performance, safety, and longevity.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment logs, and maintenance schedules.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance, repair services, and service contracts.
- Assist with groundskeeping duties, including landscaping, lawn care, snow removal, exterior maintenance tasks, and general facilities upkeep.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while performing maintenance tasks to ensure a safe working environment.
- Participate in training programs and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in facilities maintenance and repair.
Minimum Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
- 3-5 years of facilities maintenance, construction, or repair experience in a commercial or industrial setting.
- Knowledge of practices, techniques, materials and equipment used in maintenance, construction and repair of facilities.
- Ability to operate basic hand tools such as drills, power, and shop tools.
- Basic computer skills required.
- Valid driver’s license with insurance. Annual MVR required.
- Must possess basic math and reading, writing ability.
- Must complete Graphcom required trainings upon new hire and annually thereafter (HIPAA, Information Security, Medicare Fraud Waste and Abuse, Lockout/Tag Out, Harassment Prevention, Suspicious Packages Awareness, Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, Fire Extinguisher Training, HazCom/Right to know and Emergency Action Plan).
Working Conditions:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear; taste or smell.
- The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
