Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Measuring Technician to join our team. This role requires precision and accuracy in measuring and assessing client homes for window, siding, and roofing projects. Prior construction experience is not necessary due to our intensive training program, however, the ideal candidate needs to possess exceptional communication skills, a positive attitude, an extreme attention to detail, and great people skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Travel to client sites to conduct pre-install inspections for previously sold projects.
  • Accurately measure windows, siding, and roofing jobs using industry-standard tools and techniques.
  • Record and document measurements and assessments using a company-provided iPad.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, answering any questions they may have while explaining the measurement processes and preparing them for the install.
  • Collaborate with project managers and installation teams to ensure specifications are clearly understood and met.
  • Maintain and manage equipment and vehicle to ensure operational readiness.

Requirements:

  • Prior construction or technical experience is not required, but a plus.
  • Student mentality to learn our measuring techniques and procedures.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; further technical training is a plus.
  • Valid driver’s license, with a clean driving record.
