Land Entitlement Coordinator
Department: Land Development
Reports to: Land Entitlement Manager
Position Type: Full-Time ( 40 hours/wk)

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., with afterhours as needed
Pay Range: $20 - $24 Exceptional benefits package, including health, dental, vision, retirement, and daycare benefits
Position Summary:
A Land Entitlement Coordinator supports the entitlement process for land development projects. This includes researching and compiling necessary documents, permits, and approvals required to develop land for a specific use. The coordinator also ensures that all permits and approvals are obtained in a timely manner and within budget.

Researching and understanding local zoning regulations, land use laws, and building codes to determine the feasibility of a land development project.
Preparing and submitting applications for zoning changes, variances, and other necessary approvals.
Coordinating with various government agencies, community groups, and other stakeholders to obtain required permits and approvals.
Maintaining project schedules to ensure that all deadlines are met, and all requirements are fulfilled.
Coordinating with architects, engineers, and other consultants to ensure that all design plans and specifications comply with local regulations and requirements.
Preparing presentations to stakeholders, government officials, and community groups to explain the project and obtain support and approval.
Monitoring and reporting on the progress of the entitlement process to senior management and other stakeholders.
Identifying and mitigating potential risks and issues that may arise during the entitlement process.
Ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and environmental standards.
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all permits, approvals, and other documentation related to the entitlement process.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
Required:
Excellent project management and communication skills
Ability to coordinate with various stakeholders to achieve project goals.
Able to analyze complex data and make informed decisions based on that analysis.
Able to manage multiple projects concurrently with minimal oversight.
Bachelor's degree
Preferred:
Degree in Urban Planning, Real Estate Development, Political Science, or a related field
