Library Manager

8 hours per day

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Equivalent to completion of the twelfth grade. Also one of the following options:

• Two years of college study
• An associate’s (or higher) degree
• A passing score on the District’s reading, writing and math assessment.

1. Technology skills required.
2. Knowledge of standard library practices; basic reference materials; business English, spelling and punctuation.
3. Ability to catalog instructional materials; provide assistance to students; teach library skills and instruct and supervise student aides.
4. Establish and maintain cooperative relationships with fellow employees and ability to get along well with students.
5. Other duties as assigned.
6. Bilingual and bi-literate in Spanish preferred.

STARTING SALARY: $15.66-$22.39 per hour. Dependent on experience/education.
