Diligence Associate I

Job Summary:

Job Duties:

• Adhere to the highest degree of professional standards and strict client confidentiality.
• Research and consult on various matters; utilize project related software.
• Maintain a good working relationship with clients and work effectively with client management and staff at all levels to gather information and perform services.
• Work closely with senior associates and managers to promptly resolve client problems or issues encountered.
• Gain understanding of client operations, processes, and business objectives, and utilize that knowledge on engagements.
• Attend professional development and training sessions on a regular basis.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field

Certifications & Licensures:

Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in the following: accounting, audit or transaction advisory services.

KSAs:

• Strong current knowledge in US GAAP, GAAS, SEC Reporting, transaction advisory services or mergers and acquisitions.
• Strong software skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong teamwork and analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to work additional hours as needed and up to 40% travel to various client sites.
